Nutox Oxyfusion Softening Pre-Cleanser [REVIEW]

What it is:

Nutox Oxyfusion Softening Pre-Cleanser is a special softening cleanser that removes make-up and other impurities from deep within the pores without stripping away vital moisture.

It contains Bird Nest Collagen and helps to protect against the visible signs of ageing to leave the skin looking young, fair, soft and radiant. Ideal for dry and dehydrated skin.

Ingredients:
D.I Water, Ethylhexyl Stearate, Octdodecanol, Glyceryl Stearate (and) Ceteareth-20, Ceteareth-12, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetyl Palmitate, Glycerin, Octyl Methoxycinnamate, Nicotinamide, Aloe Vera (Aloe Barbadensis), Phenoxyethanol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Swiflet Nest Extract, Bilberry (Vaccinum Myrtillus) Extract, Sugar Cane (Saccharum Officinarum) Extract, Sugar Maple (Acer Saccharinum) Extract, Orange (Citrus Aurantium Dulcis) Fruit Extract, Lemon (Citrus Medica Limonum) Extract, Fragrance, Benzophenone-3, Methyl Hydroxybenzoate, Propyl Hydroxybenzoate.

The Review:

I've been using this product for years. Its supple and smooth on the skin while at the same time provides great cleansing.

I use a decent sized dollop say about 50 cents coin (flat) for use on a face that DOES NOT have makeup on. I then massage it on my face for about 30-60 seconds and wife off with a tissue paper or cloth. If I had make up on I would use twice the amount of cream cleanser or repeat the process twice.

This is how much I usually use...

I recommend a followup with a gel wash after this cleanser.

The end effect is a clean and soft face. Your skin does not pull after cleansing, hence you retain a decent amount of moisture on your face even though you just cleanse. This helps with an ageing in the long run.

Victoria Secret: Ultimate Makeup Kit [SWATCH & REVIEW]

I'm so excited that I've finally managed to get this swatch out there. My friend bought this for me from the Singapore Airport last year for only RM 107 (taking into account the exchange rate at the time).

This kit contains:

30 eye shadows
5 lip glosses
5 lipstick
4 blushes
1 luminous powder
1 bronzer
1 translucent powder
1 mascara
1 lipliner
1 eyeliner
5 brushes

First! The Eyeshadow

Swatch for the LEFT slot ONLY, from left to right (left to right) and down.

Swatch for the RIGHT slot ONLY, from left to right (left to right) and down.

Review: Love the eye shadows! Most of the colors have the pearly effect. This palette is suitable for youthful skin. as I mentioned in my earlier blog pearly or shimmery colors are not suitable for matured skin because it emphasizes the wrinkles on your eyes. It last for about 4-5 hours without an eye primer and for 12 hours with a primer.

Second! Lip Gloss, Lip Stick & etc

LIPGLOSS
Swatch for the LEFT Column ONLY, from top to bottom.

LIPSTICK
Swatch for the RIGHT Column ONLY, from top to bottom.

Review: I both both of them! There is a good variety of colors too. The only downside to this that I can think of if that the pot are not that deep and can run out before the eye shadows or powder finish.

Last! Blush, Bronzer, Luminous Powder & Translucent Powder

Blush
Swatch for the TOP row, from RIGHT TO LEFT.

Powder
Swatch for the BOTTOM row, from LEFT to RIGHT.
Luminous Powder --> Translucent Powder --> Bronzer

Review: The blushes are quite pigmented. A few strokes are enough to stain you cheeks. Also the palettes are close enough that you can easily mix the blushes together to get a different tone.

Luminous Powder: Don't quite like it. It's too white for my face. Even a small dab leaves a white mark on my face. If I use it as a highlighter I need to blend it really well. This is just too much work for me. I really wish it was more subtle for highlighting.

Translucent Powder: Not too bad, its pretty handy when you don't carry pressed powder or loose powder in your bag. It also suits most skin tones well enough. BUT not suitable for someone who's very fair or dark.

Bronzer: Its decent. The formula is good but the tone doesn't really suit my tan at the moment. The bronzer is pretty dark even for my skin tone.

OVERALL:
Would definitely buy it again! It superb for at home use or even an all- in-1 kit for emergency use for the office or even travel! A plus for extra luggage space :D

Eyelash Glue: Duo Adhesive available in Inglot Malaysia [INFO & REVIEW]

Get this!

I found out the Duo Adhesive Glue is available in Inglot Sunway Pyramid for RM 40

It a glue used to put on fake eyelashes.

Why am I raving about this?

Well its a glue that's frequently used by famous video blogs. I've tried it and only use this to put on fake eye lashes now.

Pros: The glue is pretty strong and the fake lashes stay on for hours. Not only that its easy on the eyelid when you need to remove it. Most of the other brand lash glue (especially the free ones that you get with the fake eyelashes) tend to leave reside and pulls you eyelid pretty hard when you try to remove the fake eye lashes. But not this! All I needed way my eye makeup remover or my cream cleanser.

As for how long it lasts, I'm not sure because I don't use a fake eyelash everyday never mind every week. I save it for special occasions. Which nowadays is rare since I rarely get a chance to go out. I still have the glue with me so I would say that it lasts pretty long.

Before Inglot the only way I could get an authentic tube of Duo Adhesive is by asking a friend to buy it for me when she returns from overseas. Which is pretty hard for me because she rarely returns.

So peeps if you're looking for this product look no more. Inglot Sunway Pyramid has it. But you better be quick because I'm not really sure how many they have in stock.

7 Deadly Sins of Beauty

GREED What is your most inexpensive and expensive beauty item?

I would have to say, my most expansive beauty item that I splurge on time and again is foundation. I hate the cheap foundation that leech color from your face and dries it out.

WRATH What beauty products you have a love-hate relationship with?

Mascara! I absolutely love the effect mascara has on your eye lashes but I absolutely hate taking it off. I have oily eyelids and have to use waterproof mascara but at the same time it makes it that much harder to take off.

GLUTTONY What is your most delicious beauty product?

Salvatore Ferragamo: Incanto Bloom Solid Perfume...(Travel Edition) Always with me no matter where I go...

SLOTH What beauty product do you neglect, due to laziness?

Lip balm... I have a tube in my car, on my dresser & in my bag... and yet I still fail to use it.

PRIDEWhat beauty product gives you the most self confidence?

Lipstick or lip glaze. Even when I don't have the time to put on makeup a good shade of lipstick can make a whole lot difference and can bring color to your face. Great boost for your self confidence even when you don't have the time.

LUST What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?

Hmm... I think I can go on for quite a while on this topic but I would have to say... his heart. Coz face it, the can be the most suave, good looking guy there if but if he's rude and a jackass whats the use?

ENVYWhat items would you most like to receive as a gift?

The biggest bottle of Dior Capture Totale One Essential... Sigh.. its out of my budget at the moment... but I so in love with it...

Done with my tag Jerine who do you wanna tag now :P
